OVERVIEW

Native Bloom is an online surplus flower delivery service in Greater Seattle. Our mission is to repurpose surplus flowers, typically discarded, into surprise seasonal bouquets. We aim to ethically source flowers from local farmers, preserving biodiversity through vetted partnerships. Additionally, we strive to minimize our carbon footprint by utilizing a delivery fleet comprising cargo bikes and electric vehicles.

CHALLENGE

How do we market surplus flower bouquets in Seattle, ensuring sustainability, when customers do not have the option to select their flower preferences?

SOLUTION

We curated a website with a content strategy that tells our story and addresses common questions about our business model, emphasizing the "no choice" factor. Our sustainability practices are transparently showcased for customers to align their values with.

We utilized AI image generation to create a cohesive image library to ensure consistency. We ensured we broke away from traditional flower sites with their light and pastel aesthetics to feature a unique dark interface.
